Accessibility
Last updated: this is a pre-release draft.
ThirdEyeOS is being built for people carrying a heavy load, including neurodivergent people and those navigating overwhelm. Accessibility isn't an add-on for us; it's core to who the product is for. This page describes our goals and what we've done so far on this website.
Our goal
We want ThirdEyeOS, and this website, to be usable by people with a wide range of abilities, devices, and needs, including those who rely on keyboards, screen readers, larger text, or reduced motion.
Accommodations on this website
- Keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline on interactive elements.
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Respect for your reduced-motion setting, so background animation and transitions are calmed when you ask your device to reduce motion.
- Descriptive text for meaningful images, and decorative visuals marked so assistive technology can skip them.
- Text that scales with your browser and device settings.
What we don't claim yet
We have not completed a formal, independent accessibility audit, so we don't claim conformance with any specific standard at this time. As ThirdEyeOS develops, we intend to test against recognized guidelines and update this page honestly with what we've verified.
Report a barrier
If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us. It genuinely helps. Email elisha@eldritchexchange.co and describe what you ran into and the device or assistive technology you were using.
This statement reflects work in progress on a pre-release website. It will be expanded as ThirdEyeOS is built and tested.
